A is for antioxidants.  It is like rust proofing your pipes to keep the Aorta working.

Your heart is the A1 machine that keeps you alive.  Go ahead and give it lots of A.  Many other benefits are not listed here.

A  for almond:  Almonds are high in monounsaturated fats, the same type of health-promoting fats as are found in olive oil, which have been associated with reduced risk of heart disease.

A  for apple:  Apples contain a long list of phytonutrients that function as antioxidants and support our heart health in this way.

A for avocado:  Avocados are a good source of potassium, a mineral that helps regulate blood pressure. Adequate intake of potassium can help to guard against circulatory diseases, like high blood pressure, heart disease or stroke.

B is for blood. By eating more fruits, vegetables  you can easily and quickly, a lot of the time, lower your blood pressure.

B for banana: They are great sources of an array of nutrients, with B-complex vitamins, vitamin C, potassium, manganese and magnesium. One banana also provides eleven percent of the daily recommended requirement of fiber.

B for blueberries: Blueberries have a diverse range of micronutrients, with notably high levels  of the essential dietary mineral manganese, vitamin B6, vitamin C, vitamin K and dietary fiber.

B for broccoli:  This food is a good source of Protein, Vitamin E , Thiamin, Riboflavin, Pantothenic Acid, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus and Selenium, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Vitamin B6, Folate, Potassium and Manganese.

B for beets: Red beet juice lowers your blood pressure. The American Heart Association claims that half a litter of red beet juice lowers your blood pressure in one hour. By drinking red beet juice your metabolism is improved, intestinal problems are alleviated, and helps your liver function better. A great juice is red beet with carrot juice.

C is for clean.  Keep your pipes clean with lots of roughage.  Avoid the big C of Colon Cancer.

C for carrots. Carrots are delicious and nutritious eaten cooked or raw.  They provide lots of fiber and beta carotene which is an antioxidant that may help to prevent cancer.  Carrots are loaded with vitamins and minerals such as vatamin C, B6, folate manganese, potassium and copper.

C is for celery.  Celery is a good source of fiber and is very low in calories.  It helps digestion and is rich in many nutrients. It tastes good and serves to add flavor to many recipes. It has been used in Asia to lower blood pressure for centuries and it is believed to help prevent cancer.

C is for cauliflower.  Cauliflower helps in improving colon health and reduces the risk of colon cancer. It contains a substance called sulforaphane which remove chemicals that cause cancer in the body. It was recently discovered that a substance called indole-3-carbinol in cauliflower reduces the risk of breast cancer. It is also a liver and blood detoxifier. There is so much more that can be said about cauliflower that after this research, I conclude that one could write a book.  It now gets my vote as one of the most important food.

I Have Learned

I have learned that you can not make choices for other people.

I have learned that what others think of me is none of my business.

I have learned that my thoughts affect the universe.

I have learned that if I don’t care about myself, noboby else will.

I have learned that I don’t know very much.

I have learned not to sweat the small stuff.

I have learned that the law of expectation is hard at work.  Meditate on it.

I have learned that the way other people view me affects my self esteem. Therefore it is up to me to act in a way that commands respect.

I have recently come upon this product ” Himalayan Salt ” and it seems to have many benefits.  I am wondering why doctor Oz or Deepak Chopra have not mentioned it. Keep the search going!
